However, still you cannot assure that the keloid scars will not come back. So the above mentioned methods may have to be tried again after a few years. Keloids can occur in almost all parts of the body at the edges of an incision or wound. There is nothing much that can be done as yet to get rid keloid scars as there is no medicine available that can assure permanent cure for the same. All that can be done is to keep on removing them whenever they reoccur. It is necessary to treat the scar with various keloid scar removal techniques. This is because the unpleasant site may make you feel embarrassed in public. It may also lead to other infections on the body, so to cure them temporarily is the only solution available.
